About Mitchell and his Family
Mitchell was born with a rare genetic condition called Genitopatellar Syndrome in 2001. While his condition limited him in many ways, it did not stop him from living a full life. His sweet spirit and curious nature showed all of us close to him the true meaning of unconditional love.
Mitchell loved listening to music, especially Alvin and the Chipmunks. He also loved hippotherapy, swimming, listening to books, bowling, and watching his favorite movies, which were Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, and Frozen. Attending school brought Mitchell a great deal of enjoyment and satisfied his curious nature. He also loved spending time with his family, which included a well-loved team of nurses.
Mitchell gained his angel wings on March 26th, 2017. Mitchell possessed incredible strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible physical challenges. He was pure of heart and an inspiration to everyone he met. Through his courage, he led us to believe and see each day as a blessing and an opportunity to feel joy.
We hope Mitchell’s Stones travel far in this world! We look forward to finding where they land on the map.
